We are honoured to continue our ‘No Problema presents’ series with an in-depth exploration of the works of Daily CM and 空気系.

空気系 (Kūki-kei) is an experimental project that moves freely between ambient music, minimalism, signalwave, and vaporwave. Their music is constructed from fragments of memory and texture, forming fleeting compositions that evoke half-remembered dreams, forgotten broadcasts or moments of quiet, everyday beauty. Through short, impressionistic pieces, 空気系 captures the poetry of the ordinary: the sound of static between radio stations, the quiet of a distant weather forecast, and the warmth of nostalgia preserved in digital decay.

This body of work has resonated widely with listeners who seek subtle and introspective soundscapes. Fans of 天気予報 / Asutenki and Infinity Frequencies will immediately recognise the kinship, an emphasis on atmosphere over structure, intimacy over spectacle and mood over melody.

As well as releasing music under the name 空気系, the artist also works under several aliases, including Video Forum, Meteorological Agency, and Seasonal Photos. Each alias approaches the same core themes from a different angle, but together they form a cohesive universe of sound that blurs the line between past and present, memory and environment.
