The wait is over, it’s finally here!
Building a Better World has been re-released on Vinyl Record, Cassette Tape, CD, and for the first time ever a Picture Disc!
It took quite some time to get this pressing done - as some of you know the pressing plant we’ve been using went bankrupt last year, right in the middle of our pressing. This caused months delay and heaps of extra costs… Luckily they managed to get help and could continue pressing our records.
Now it’s finally here! On many different formats and colors, take a look down below and pick your favorite.
Formats available:
- Blue/Purple Marbled Vinyl
- Orange ‘sunset’ Marbled Vinyl
- Classic Black Vinyl
- Cassette Tape with purple shell
- CD with obi strip
- PICTURE DISC - a real collectors item. (dont worry about the quality, it sounds great.)
- 10 signed and numbered test pressings will be up for auction on Ebay, one after another. These are located in the USA.
As for now, no copies will be on the USA Shop as Shopify orders are still not syncing properly with the warehouse. I expect them to have it fixed next week, but I don’t like to take the risk. Fingers crossed. USA customers can purchase through the EU Shop and Bandcamp though. Bandcamp is connected to both warehouses so you should be good. Don’t worry, we have plenty in stock. And if we do run out, we simply press more.

From The Netherlands, 猫 シ Corp. is an influential figure in the vaporwave and mallsoft genres, active since 2013. Known for crafting music that explores themes of consumerism, nostalgia, and digital aesthetics, 猫 シ Corp. often uses smooth jazz, elevator music, ambient soundscapes, and the sounds of shopping malls to evoke a sense of lost commercial utopias.
In recent years, 猫 シ Corp. has gradually shifted focus from classic vaporwave to a more ambient-driven style, evolving to explore deeper, introspective themes. Because of this some of 猫 シ Corp.’s best-known works is Building a Better World, which showcase a unique blend of ambient-driven soundscapes and dreampunk vaporwave. This shift has drawn listeners into dreamlike environments and futuristic spaces, merging ambient soundscapes with vaporwave’s nostalgic core and establishing 猫 シ Corp.’s place in the ambient music landscape.
Now in 2025 猫 シ Corp. released space-ambient album ‘Blueberries on Mars’ with a special remix version, and ‘Hiraeth: The Ambient Works’ … with even more new projects to come!

t e l e p a t h テレパシー能力者 is a major contributor to the classic and hypnagogic subgenres of vaporwave. From the very beginning the artist was known for it’s unique phasing sound, which quickly became known as slushwave.
In 2015 the artist teamed up with Hong Kong Express to form “2814” and they delivered a groundbreaking album titled “新しい日の誕生” (Birth of a New Day). An album that would set the bar at a new height for vaporwave and dreampunk.
Four years later he worked with 猫 シ Corp. on instant classic “Building a Better World” – exploring the sounds of dystopian Earth and utopian worlds. In 2019 t e l e p a t h テレパシー能力者 has made a soundtrack for the Flora Miranda’s Lalaland Fashion Show and played live at both Electronicon 1 and 2.
In recent years t e l e p a t h テレパシー能力者 has been working with his significant other Agia on their Lovers Entwined project and in 2020 they have released “The Way” on Hiraeth Records. In 2025 the focus shifted to the new project "ᖚᓷᓺᓺᕿᔍᕣᒔᖍ" (Tianhuojian).
