Uncle Squidz is the electronic/vaporwave project of Ray Kostelecky. Although she started with using the phrase “Vaporsynth” to describe her work she’s delved deep into many electronic sounds, all with a focus on recording with cassette equipment and making as lofi as possible. Although this project is on the back burner so she can focus on her hypnagogic pop/freak folk hybrid project MAGICK FLAVOUR STATION, she always has something cooking for Squidz should she revisit the project.
