Melding elements of minimalism, cold wave, and darker shades of electro, AURAGRAPH delivers a uniquely frosty and metallic sound that magnetically clings to one's psyche. AURAGRAPH is the brainchild of Texas born, LA based Hector Carlos Ramirez.
AURAGRAPH has released two albums at Hiraeth Records: Memory Tracer and Opacity Field.
Experimental synthesizer-based
Carlos played in several bands within the hardcore and punk scene in Laredo, Texas, before a move to Austin, Texas prompted his fascination with synthesizers and samplers. Many of AURAGRAPH's songs have come to life in Carlos' own home, recording his ideas by patching in various synths with tape saturated analog drum sounds.
The young artist has composed and mixed for shows like Stranger Things, and National Geographic's Valley of The Boom, as well as collaborated with artists like S U R V I V E and Missions, earning him impressive credits early on in his career.
