MUSIC 2 is the first collaborative album between 100% Electronica labelmates FM Skyline & Equip, born from a mutual love of 90’s video games, General MIDI, Japanese AOR, Balearic House, and classic vaporwave. FM Skyline made the trek from Richmond, VA to Equip’s home studio in Chicago, IL with vintage synth in tow to compose and record together in person, interspersed with breaks for pizza, vintage CGI laserdiscs, and Gundam plastic model kits.

The album art is a homage to classic video game box art and features a collaboration of physical clay modeling and digital design by Keith Rankin and his partner Ellen Thomas, along with diorama photography and additional digital design by FM Skyline and Equip.
